Starting from 2006, Bianchi realizes for Ducati, the company producing motorcycles, another famous Italian brand linked to Made in Italy, the exclusive Ducati Corse bikes range. That was a very successful alliance and the Factory of Treviglio have decided to expand the model line.
- Four new children models (12’’ and 16’’ for boys and girls) will be available within Christmas 2008.
- The MTB range has deeply changed and will also include middle priced models that will be at disposal starting from next year’s spring.
The heroic deeds of the great champions of the past and, above all, of the present of motorcycling and cycling inspired a range that exalts the relations between humanity and technology. The expertise of the motorcyclist team led to an exclusive and unique technology that has been rigorously tested.
The high modulus carbon fibre MR60 and HR40 use the Tube to Tube technology guaranteeing precise combinations among single tubes and the maximum control of the stiffening fibre with a very high stiffness/weight ratio.
The Hydroforming aluminium pushes stiffness above the limit and guarantees a precise dimensional control of the tubes in comparison with the traditional drawing systems. The Hyperalloy with Zinc and Magnesium makes the frame lighter and enhances resistance to shocks (50% more than the normal alloys on the market).
Design is young and has one main colour, the Ducati red, and a second colour the white which is linked to the history of Ducati as well.
The range features three road bicycles, four mountain bikes and two Street bikes whose names come from the motorcycle world.
FACTORY 900XR and FACTORY (Veloce and Tiagra), are the road bicycles. Factory like the official motorcycles by Ducati Corse both in MotoGP and Superbike Championships.
SCRAMBLER XS, MONSTER 900 Carbon and MONSTER (800 and 700) are the mountain bikes. Scrambler and Monster are the names of two of the most famous Ducati motorcycles.
PANIGALE is the fashion Street bikes of the range which takes their names in honour of the area on the outskirts of Bologna where the historical Ducati factory is set.
The range is completed by four DUCATI MONSTER junior models (two in white and two in red).
The Ducati Corse range is sold all over the world and only in the specialized shops.
